Research & Development Consortia

PV Nano Cell is proud to participate in various funded consortia projects throughout the world. These collaborative projects allow us to work with the top companies in various industries and bring our inks together with their products to push the current boundaries of technology.

European Union’s H2020 funded TINKER project is set to develop a new reliable, accurate, functional, cost-affordable and resource-efficient pathway for RADAR and LiDAR sensor package fabrication, following 2 main objectives:

  • Establishing the TINKER platform based on Additive Manufacturing {AM},
  • Fabrication of RADAR and LiDAR sensor packages as use cases.
TINKER uses key enabling technologies, such as inkjet printing.  PV Nano Cell was selected as sole provider of the conductive ink in the project.

RoLA-FLEX is an industry driven project which provides innovative solutions to the challenges associated with performance and lifetime of existing Organic and Large Area Electronics (OLAE). OLAE advancements have offered the potential of creating new and sustainable manufacturing sites in Europe, with significantly less toxic waste produced during the process. Despite the advancements of OLAE the use of organic semiconductors has not yet revolutionized consumer electronics and alternative energy related sources. The current wider market penetration of OLAE is blocked by scientific and engineering challenges to be overcome. The Rola-FLEX project addresses these challenges by focusing on materials, process development and prototype applications.”

​DIMAP – Focused on the development of novel ink materials for 3D multi-material printing, specifically additive manufactured robotic joints and luminaires. Horizon 2020 framework.

HiperLAM – Focused on demonstrating superior cost and speed performance in end-to-end processes featuring laser-based additive manufacturing in two key applications requiring high resolution printed conductive metallic lines, namely laser printed RFID antenna and laser printed fingerprint sensors. Horizon 2020 framework.
